LunaKaibaWelcome back to another merchandise haul. As always I got a lot of new Yugioh and Seto Kaiba merch but this time I also got quite a few new figures. So I‘ll divide this blog into two parts for once, Figures and other goods!
─── ･ ｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ .* :☆ﾟ. ───Starting of with my new figures:
I got the Pop Up Parade Dark Magian Girl -Alternative Color Ver.- I was a bit unsure if I should get her because it is essentially the same figure as her regular version, just with duller colors, but she’s still super cute and wasn’t expensive so I just had to get her! No regrets at all XD
Here she is in comparison to the regular Dark Magician Girl Pop up Parade. As you can see the pose is exactly the same, the colors of her and the base are the only difference.
The next figure is the Dark Magician Girl model kit by Kotobukiya and man oh man this was a huge pain. I‘m not a huge fan of model kits, I lack the steady hand for it and patience, but I was incredibly careful yet I still had a lot of trouble with this one. The instructions were easy to follow and the first half was really nice to work on and then it all went downhill. One of the connective parts of her legs broke, the clothing thing on her chest snapped in half when I assembled it and her stand also clearly broke into two pieces while I tried to remove it from the frame. I‘m not that familiar with anime figure model kits, but I‘m still a bit disappointed in myself and in the quality of it as it wasn’t exactly cheap. It took me 7 hours to assemble her and a bit more to fix her and clean her up. She still looks super cute but this was just beyond frustrating for me.
Here is a picture of her fully assembled. I tried to fix everything as best as I could, but the clean cut on her chest is just in such an unfortunate place that it’s sadly very visible in real life T~T
My First4Figures Blue-Eyes White Dragon also finally showed up! I got Exclusive Edition in the color white. I preordered him last year in January and the long wait was definitely worth it! I‘m absolutely impressed by how big he is and how well done the details are. The wingspan is absolutely huge. The ball in his mouth can light up with LED and it looks amazing!
I was a bit surprised to see that he was limited to 10000 pieces and that I have number 28!!! He even came with an authenticity card, that shows that he’s legit. I‘m now even more excited for the Definitive edition to arrive XD
The final figure that I got was this absolutely huge Blue-Eyes White Dragon statue made by Fantasy Studio. It’s a non licensed figure, but it looks so amazing that I had to get it!
According to the website it is limited to a 150 pieces world wide, but at the bottom of the figure it says 71/100! Eitherway I‘m so happy to own this incredibly limited statue.
Here are some more pictures of it! I‘m still absolutely floored by how amazing he looks. The metallic shimmer of the paintjob and all the details are incredible! Again this statue is also gigantic! The whole base and it’s mouth and eyes also can light up!

This package arrived coincidentally on Kaiba‘s birthday! It included the new ANI XROSS goods and two huge Kaiba acrylic stands! I also finally got my hands on those badges and a small KC style notepad. One of my favorite thing to collect are acrylic stands, so I‘m always very happy when they release new Kaiba ones, especially when they also include BEWD!
Small little Kaiba haul, nothing particularly fancy to see here. I had to get the clear file because of the tiny Kaiba in the upper corner. No matter who small the Kaiba is, I have to get him!
Kaiba‘s birthday package also included this nice pillow of him with Mokuba on the backside. I‘m always so happy when they make merchandise of him…We need more Mokuba merch! The pillow itself is a lot bigger than I expected it to be and it’s also super soft. It came in a box that was around a fourth of its size. When I opened it, it basically exploded into my face xD How they managed to squeeze it inside that tiny box is a mystery.
And lastly I got a full set of the NordiQ tin badges that also still included the exclusive AmiAmi bonus! I just really love the design of these, they are so cute. I also love how the bonus is Kaiba&BEWD again. I‘m obsessed with cute Yugioh merchandise like this!

It’s gonna take some time till the Definitive edition will arrive, but I know the wait is gonna be worth it :D Oh god I don’t know if I have the space to put them all in one picture, but I will try xD

That’s the only official alternative color DMG has sadly. It’s based on her LART card artwork that Takahashi drew himself. The pose is also basically the same and the yellow base matches the background of the card. I think it’s a really nice reference to that card, especially now that he’s gone…
I agree! They are both huge and don’t fit into my detlofs, the wings take up so much space
