Hello there! I'm a first-day buyer on figures. I don't intend to become a figure collector-- or at least, not anytime soon. I do have a very pressing question about the legitimateness of a figure, to which the link I will post here; (It's not letting me post the link. Ah, well.)
Is this a bootleg? I've been looking for this figure for cheap for some time, and I finally came across this. I'm extremely doubtful as to whether or not it's a bootleg, though... please help! Thank you!

I thought Funko was big and popular in the US? But noone reported these fakes?
I don't have ebay link as I live in Indonesia. But we have Shopee.id which connects Chinese sellers with Indonesian buyers.

Bootleg for item #664451 (Funko Zinogre) and item #664450 (Funko Rathalos).
For more info, bootleg Rathalos is practically gone. But bootleg Zinogre is still being sold. There are NO bootleg "markings". Thus it is very hard to distinguish it.
NB: I put Shopee link as proof but the system purges it. Oh well...

bootleg of
ITEM #604759
Thank you! I've added few photos of the bootleg and
reported the entry
so the staff would put a counterfeit warning on the figure page.
EDIT: The warning is already added!

thanks for the infomation.Yes, i bought
ITEM #887979
but the joint is loose and the box got no seal and that make me think is it bootleg.
I don't know about Revoltech figures, but other Amazing Amaguchi box has no seals, look here:
PICTURE #2111705
The easy fix for loose joints is a bit of nail polish clear applied on a ball joint before putting the part in place. The added thickness will help to make the joint movements more sturdy.

Do you mean
ITEM #887979
? No one on MFC reported that the bootleg exists. So far, only the figma
ITEM #455090
has a bootleg - you can see the warning in a general info section.
Usually bootleg action figures are annoying to pose. The Midoriya figma has bad reviews. I saw few customer photos with broken figmas of him. He's made of brittle plastic and joints can snap in any moment.

I honestly didn't browse the comments much but.. what is everyone's thoughts on buying bootlegs USED so you aren't directly supporting the bootleggers? Like if a figure is way out of your price range. Just curious!
tbh, I don't really care about what folks think about owning a bootleg.
I have a couple bootlegs because the real deal figure is priced out of range such as the Native Chris 1/4 figure that has a near ~$700 price tag. The best part is that her specific bootleg is just a tad bit less developed than the real deal figure. There's also the 1/4 My Dear Bunny Miku where the bootleg looks nearly identical to the authentic item based on the photos users have provided. Ofc, I'm not saying that I support bootlegs 1000% but let's be real, bootlegs are never going away and bootleggers are only getting better slowly but surely. I also buy some to see if X figure would even fit in well with my collection. If it doesn't, I know I saved $200+ from buying the legit item.
