This probably is a very basic question but how do we make sure that a ebay seller is trustable other then the ratings?

Anyone who can use yahoo japan can please confirm me if its possible to use an overseas credit card in yahoo japan? I would like to know it because Im considering to buy a japanese phone number so I can register in yahoo auctions, but I would like to know if I can use my card in the first place.

Anyone use www.figurekon.c... before? I'd not heard of them before but a commentor on reddit had said they were good, so I pre-ordered on them (also because the pre-order period of the figure I was interested in was ending, and it was the cheapest I could find). However, after doing so, I went back and the guy's comment history was full of "this figure is on figurekon" -type comments and now I'm a bit suspicious.

Hopefully my decision to be implusive hasn't backfired on me.

tomura • 3 months ago • #117419431are you limited to only using that service? buyee (official mercari jp proxy) and dejapan (smaller proxy with less fees) are both more intuitive with neater interfaces if youre looking for a mercari proxy. I’ve used Buyee before, when I got a free shipping coupon if I used Mercari and was like “cool, coupon!” Bought a (embarrassingly overpriced) gk and book, but that was the only time since there’s mixed reviews for their shipping and fees. That experience was great for me, however I dunno if I’d use it again in the future (high fees are an enemy for me since I’m usually broke).

I’ve rarely heard of Dejapan, I’ll try it on my next Mercari order ^_^ This time I just decided to use Jpshopping since it’s slightly different than a normal proxy as they don’t charge per item, instead it’s how much your order overall costs (does that make sense? I’m not sure how to explain it!) And despite their interface looking like it’s from 2005 it gets easier when you check it out on your own. When I placed my orders, within two hours they purchased my items! That’s the fastest any proxy has purchased something for me :o So far it seems promising!

So, I tried to contact them through their format on the site but after 4 days I still haven't received a response. Just to be clear, I noticed that they have two pages where to be contacted and I wanted to know which of the two is the correct one to ask to change shipping address.

I’ve found a limited figure for a decent price.Again, it's a scam site. The company address is shared with cosmetics manufacturer, and the site is too new (below a month) to see info about it in who.is website.
