All of shipping method that we offer have tracking number, and you will be able to track the item.
Having said that, unfortunately, in case of small package, tracking is often updated very late.
This is unfortunately due to low priority of this method, Post doesnt update it well.
It also depends on the country.
Please, keep it in mind. - 6 years agoDear chapters0,
chapters0 • 6 years ago • for undervaluing do you charge another fee for it?
Regarding the undervalue, we charge fee not for undervaluing itself, but for the insurance.
Basically, paying this small fee will ensure that you will get full value of your parcel, if it is lost by the Post.
As you probably know, the Post will only refund you declared value.
But since you pay this fee, ZenMarket will refund you real value in case your parcel is lost.
Hope that we manage to answer your question, please dont hesitate to ask other question. - 6 years agoI want to buy three of the same item from p-bandai about 6000yen, p-bandai shipping fee about 600yen, ZenMarket fee is 300yen. So I'll have to pay 18900yen immediately and pay international shipping fee later right?

Dear Trishty,
Yes, that is correct.

ZM - 6 years agoDoes Zenmarket undervalue? Can you win several auctions from one user and pay the fee once or is the fee per auction?
- 6 years ago • Updated 6 years agolightningmaid • 6 years ago • #16611554Does Zenmarket undervalue? Can you win several auctions from one user and pay the fee once or is the fee per auction?
1)ZenMarket does undervalue, but with a caveat. Since they guarantee that they will cover the full value of the package if it were to get lost, but you have to pay an "insurance fee" for it. The cost depends on the difference between the insured value and the actual value, but I guess it's relatively small?
2)Fee is per auction. If you are looking for a cheaper Yahoo Auction proxy, try J-Subculture instead, they are waiving their commission fees last time I checked.Nendoroid Splits and Group Orders LIST #48145

does J-Subculture have other fees? or is it just auction item+shipping to them+shipping to me? - 6 years ago • Updated 6 years agochapters0 • 6 years ago • #16615130
They are all "at cost" fees, which going on the top off my head would be the cost of item + PayPal fees + bank transfer fee + domestic shipping + shipping to me. Here's their page for an example auction.j-subcu...Nendoroid Splits and Group Orders LIST #48145

- 6 years ago • Updated 6 years agoWhy are their shipping prices higher than what they are supposed to be?
For example, shipping a 1500g package to Canada via SAL small packet should be 1580 yen (www.post.japanp...)
Yet they charge 1990 yen (410 yen more) just for this example (zenmarket.jp/ca...)
Shouldn't this be corrected? Can Zenmarket please explain this? :/ - 6 years agoDo they do Comiket pick ups?

Oh I see, but then on their site it says "Package consolidation and shipping insurance are included in our service fee [300 yen per item]", so it doesn't really make sense.
Plus I feel like it's an unnecessary amount that is not made readily apparent to users. And that we should be given the option to choose if we want it without having it automatically tacked on without being told >_< Lol money's a bit tight this year, so this was an unwelcome surprise that I realized after placing my order. - 6 years ago • Updated 6 years agoSince I finally received some packages from ZenMarket I figured I'd give them a little write-up. I've never used a proxy before and decided to try out ZenMarket because I wanted to purchase some items off of Yahoo!Japan Auctions.
I've made two transactions with them so far and both went really smoothly. It's super easy to deposit money although there is a small service fee that varies depending on what method you use (Paypal, Credit card, etc.). In my case I wanted to win some auctions so I searched Y!J until I found what I wanted and then put in the URL on ZenMarket's website. They have a translate/search area on the website already but I find it a little difficult to navigate (and some of the translations are kind of weird). Anyway once you put in the URL you can then bid on the item or add it to your watchlist. If you bid on an item at any time it will be removed from your watchlist. One item I purchased off Y!J was a buy-it-now and the other required bidding. Bidding is real-time and pretty much instant. I did not use the sniper bid system because I heard that sometimes it doesn't function properly so I'll have to try it out another time. I'm still a little confused whether or not you can put in a sniper bid and a regular, real-time bid - the way the website was set up it doesn't seem that way. Then again idk if sites like Ebay let you do that either lol.
After I won the auctions it took 1-2 days for the items to reach the warehouse, another 1-2 days for them to estimate shipping, and then 7-9 days for them to reach me. I shipped my items separately since one was a B1 poster and the other one ITEM #69261 so there was no way to group them but they each cost 2,000 yen to ship. I have no idea if this is the standard price or not but honestly I don't mind since they came with tracking and were updated pretty regularly. The box and tube they used were super sturdy and my items arrived in perfect condition.
EDIT: After checking JP Post's website the 2,000 yen charge is accurate so they did not upcharge or include any hidden fees.
I was hesitant because some people here had written pretty meh reviews lately but overall I had a very positive experience. I thought about trying J-Subculture but since I don't purchase large quantities of items or make purchases too often I don't see the point in switching just to save 300-500 yen. I do wish that they had events/deals a little more often but who doesn't want that ;) Either way I will continue to use them for the time being. - 6 years ago • Updated 6 years agoshort review: Ordered once, a Digimon figure from Megatrea
Site's easy to use. Convenient to compare the deposit rates of various payment methods. Once I tried depositing by card but the next page wouldn't load. Not sure if it's the site or this 'old' laptop I'm temporarily using.
Shipping: Megatrea box in another box, fitting exactly. Taking the box out of the box took me a teeny while longer than I'd like to, but not as difficult as that one time the postman stuffed my bulky parcel in the small mailbox.
Would I use ZM again? Yes if cheaper than FJ or if FJ can't buy the item. Too used to FJ @-@Feel free to PM me if you need MFC-related help, or check out Language Sandwich club for help with translations - 6 years ago • Updated 6 years agoSo I had ordered 3 PHYSICAL items (which is more expensive than digital) from one online shop with them. In our messages as well as in my order details, I clearly specified that I want the physical version and NOT the digital versions for these items. They acknowledged this in their reply, saying they'll order the physical versions and charged me the fees for the physical versions. Now they say they have ordered the digital version for one of the items, and gave me the link to download. They even charged me an extra service fee since it's digital. And I'm just ???? I clearly did not want the digital version? And made that very clear to them as well. I have replied to them, will post an update of the situation on here.
EDIT: They have acknowledged their error & said they'll keep me updated! I'll post updates on here too in regards to the situation's outcome. Hopefully it'll be good news.
FINAL EDIT: Everything has arrived and overall, it was a pleasant experience! They accepted and fixed their hiccup and after that, things were smooth sailing. Just be forewarned that they do not allow for unregistered shipping - they only do registered. So for instance, every package will have that additional 410 fee for the insurance. I do hope they had the option to choose between reg and unreg, but other than that - good experience :) - 6 years agoi had a problem with them charging me extra for in japan shipping for a strap...i told them about the how the add said it was only like 100yen to ship within jap and not 900yen they charged me. they ended up giving me the money back after checking, but if didnt call them out on it they prob would have not given it back.
