A temporary thread for tracking GI items not logged in the database, mainly for goods and media. Anyone can contribute, so feel free to reply to this thread if you have information/links on series/items or wish for a certain item to be added and/or researched.

Current goal is to properly log (at the very least, create a list of) all GI items in the database that weren't sold on whitelisted stores. Due to the change in MFC rules now equalizing whitelisted origins, an open thread is now present for anybody to help contribute to the long list of items not sold on previously whitelisted stores.

**Thread is run by the club admin and not associated with site staff. Please head to CLUB #828 for more general database oriented questions or issues.

non-CN items, misc, and trickier cases

— KFC CN x Genshin **Important note: NoteCloseI recently discovered that the items sold on Tmall vs the ones sold offline are variants. Here are some images of the items:

Original items have KFC x 原神 while the Tmall/online sales variants only have the Mihoyo copyright on the back and front. JANs and classifications are also different.

Slight database-wise issue with this is the fact that these items already exist in the DB (may need editing), and there are no official images of the KFC-logo'ed items EDIT: I found photos of the original logo'ed collaboration goods announcement, so that's taken care of, but not the original post yet.

This may also very well be an issue for other collaboration items / event items, so I will have to dig deeper on this in its entirety, but this is just one example of collab items having variants that has been discovered.
— Beta-Era Acrylic Stands NoteCloseSimilar to the above case, while searching secondhand listings I came across these acrylic stands:





According to the seller, these were only for sale during the beta period (either 2019 - early-mid 2020?) and are out of print versions of the usual character acrylic stands. So far they only seem to have listed Lumine, Aether and Klee. While the differences might not be very clear, the acrylic isn't as close-cut to the images, the bases are different, and the packaging is slightly different.

EDIT: t.bilibili.com/... - From the post, seemingly they were sold as stamp exchange(?)/lottery items at BilibiliWorld (July 2020), and stands were seemingly limited. If other links / sold dates are found, they'll be added here.

Does anybody know the origin of these items? They're from ENTRY #322597 in 2021, but I can't find solid info on what they were exactly from. From what I could gather in secondhand listings, they either seem to be exclusives (possibly a box-set?) or point redemption items? I'm not exactly sure which is correct.

I'm not sure how this was able to be obtained, possibly at the event itself or similar conditions mentioned above?

Unrelated, but I added a category for Tmall bonuses (incl APEX's Tmall bonuses for their figures), I listed some but I know I'm missing more. If anybody knows of others, feel free to quote (or PM) so I can add them.

I added ITEM #1884358 and ITEM #1884371, but I noticed that Kadokawa (JP) says they published the Vol.1 in Japan. But I have a copy from Animate that doesn't mention Kadokawa anywhere. So I'm confused if maybe I need to create a second entry for Vol.1...

I got Vol.2 recently from Kotobukiya's booth at Fanime, but that also has all CN information on it (and doesn't seem to be sold on any JP shops currently besides Kinokuniya who just displays CN info).

-Liyue character shikishis (note: there are also mondstadt/other shikishis in a similar style, but I'm not 100% sure what campaign/obtainment requirements they had)The Mondstadt ones were spending bonuses (single order 200+ rmb) during the 2021 and 2022 ACGFes (last picture in the links below).

Actually, HSR did merchandise giveaways during their beta periods so I guess it isn't that strange now that I think about it, but still. There's actually quite a good handful of exclusive lottery items it seems? MHY didn't really strike me as the type to make a lot of lottery goods but looking back on some older campaigns and items, there has been quite a bit. There's also a lot of straight up unobtainable items like content creator gifts, but I don't want to think about those lmfao. I have seen some CN-exclusive ones for sale recently though, no idea how somebody goes about obtaining them to resell.

AH I could've sworn I saw the other shikishis before at some event so good to know where they were available from at one point. I don't think I ever saw/posted about the WeChat keychains so I'll be sure to add them and the purchase/order event bonuses too.

Speaking of Keqing, is there any sales related info about the Keqing alexa smart speakers? From this collab: t.bilibili.com/... (I'm gonna be honest, I heard about this I think two years ago and I have never seen the actual product in photos, genuinely forgot about them until today) - I'm sure I could find a sales link somewhere but I don't think it was ever posted on Genshin's official accounts further unless I missed it.

This one is a bit of a strange case but I came across this 1st anniversary / GenshinFES(?) giftbox, and while there isn't anything really of interest, there is a metal brooch(?)/pin that I haven't seen elsewhere. (here's the secondhand link for more photos: jp.mercari.com/...)




I have no clue about the obtainment conditions, never saw anything about it whilst scrolling through CN merch announcements at the time so I think this might've been special conditions or lottery/giveaway based? The other items are standard releases so they aren't of interest.

I went through a ton of WBmachine pages and found a good handful of items that I totally forgot about (and items that needed sources), though theres still a few that I don't have the main/additional pages for: View spoilerHide spoilerCadillac x Genshin - I found a few misc merchandise posts from Cadillac's weibo but I can't really find a post about all of the merchandise, I know there's acrylic stands/keychains/etc, but I haven't found the proper main page yet ;;;.

Dominos x Genshin - Couldn't find the official post for the merchandise (twitter.com/dev...), only official posts I found was announcing the collab, the main HYV page (that doesn't have the merchandise) and posts from Dominos MY saying it was "coming soon".

Honkai 3rd x Genshin - I don't think there was a ton of merchandise (only a few iirc) but I think I might be missing some besides what I listed from memory. I think one or two of the original links are still up on their Tmall but I haven't looked for the official post yet. Haven't found the official page but I have found a site that posted all of the goods, so I added it to the list.

you can see the keqing headband was included as a gift for spending over 120 yuan at this exhibit, and there were other bonus gift items of that nature. this may be where the item 'debuted', for lack of a better word, i can't find anything about it beyond this exhibit info

There's also this PVC card from the same event: ImageClose The keqing headband was available as a point redemption reward as early as November/December 2021. I remember randomly debating if I should get it even though I had no need for it since I had a bunch of excess points. The GenshinFes pin was also a point redemption reward around the same time. The PVC card might've been....? I remember seeing something with that artwork on the redemption page but never bothered to check what it was since I already had the poster.

It's a bit hard to track point redemption items since they rotate whenever mhy feels like it. There's also no log of what was previously available and I don't think anyone tracks it so it's just based off of what people can remember. The washi tape might have also been a point redemption reward but I'm not as sure of this compared to the other 3 items.

EDIT: My date for the keqing headband may have been off from what I remembered but it was definitely available pretty early on in the point redemption system. My earliest mention of it was from May 2022

tighnari • 4 months ago • #124705290Should be fine to tag them with the characters? Considering it's a large part of the design and not a minor motif personally I think it's fine. Also, if they were sold at an event it should be added as sale alongside the online sales release.

Might have to ask a mod about this in specific, but I don't know if regular standard release goods that are featured at these events need additional release dates? So many standard items like ENTRY #319976 are featured in event catalogs, they (and all the other older character goods) would probably have 10+ releases. A lot of campaign items also get tons of rereleases/restocks (ex: GenshinFES pins/mask holder), but I feel those are usually just overstock/leftovers rather than restocks lol;.

If they don't post/update when there's new items available to redeem at all, then it's probably too difficult to trace back any of them _(°:з」∠)_... Really wish a lot of these didn't have to result in scouring aftermarket and SNS across multiple platforms, but if I find anything else (even if its super minor) I'll try to add it lol.

Whoops, didn't see this post yesterday when I edited your Venti plush entry. Didn't think it was worth making an alert since it was a minor edit lol.

But I'll clarify since you asked here: Dvalin isn't added as a character in this situation because he is the costume, not an actual character. (Examples: ITEM #586830 and ITEM #1199273) I added him in the tags instead. For Baron Bunny, I saw you added it as a tag which is the correct way to go there.
